November is an interesting month. It is a month that is often associated with change. In the north the days get cooler and shorter. In the south, the days get warmer and longer. It is a significant month in history. A lot of events have occured in this month over time and things have changed a lot since your parents were young.
Here are some questions to ask you parents about when they were growing up.
Questions to ask:
1. Where did you grow up? What was the weather like at this time of year?
2. What sports did you do in November i.e. hockey, basketball, volleyball, other sports, etc.? What sports did you have in your area? Where did you play your sports? What team did you play for? What position did you play? Were you any good?
3. What kinds of activities did you do i.e. play games, listen to the radio, play an instrument, etc?
4. Did your family do things together at this time of year?
5. What was the weather like at this time of year? Did you like it?

6. Did you spend much time outside at this time of year?
7. What events did you attend at this time of year?
8. Did you have more chores or just different chores to do at this time of year?
9. Did you ever travel at this time of year?
10. Did you like this time of year?
